Concept design Ugo Guidolin

Musée d’Orsay 100 Masterpieces is an informative and interactive  tour in which you can see the artworks of great Impressionists such as Manet, Monet and Renoir, as too Rousseau “Le Douanier” and Gauguin, the father of Fauvism: all the brush-strokes, colours and excitement of 19th-century French painting in a 2 hours and 30 minutes interactive audio-guide describing 100 masterpieces in one of the world’s most famous museums.

The concept design of the application, developed by Oogo, allows you to explore the history and technique behind each picture and a simple touch of the finger brings up the main details in a thorough and fascinating explanation. A museum visit turns into a delightful experience as you listen to the story of a period of great artistic and human fervour, remarkable characters and paintings born out of brilliant intuition.
Organised by artist, works and theme routes, you can navigate through the masterpieces of this famous museum easily and at will. A video presents the museum’s history and architecture – from the 1900 Exhibition to the Italian architect Gae Aulenti’s refurbishment – as well as all its acquisitions.

The factual contents edited by Electa – the leading artwork publisher – will cast you into a magic, exciting and never trite atmosphere, illustrating what the eye at first misses but is essential to thoroughly feel the joy of art.

The application is available in Italian, English and French and comes complete with an information section containing everything you need to know to get to and visit the Paris museum.
